LG KC550 Orsay Review The LG Orsay is the first mid-range phone to feature a 5 megapixel camera. The build quality didn’t fill us with confidence.
LG KC550 It wasn’t that long ago when phones with 5-megapixel cameras were non-existent. But our warm fuzzy feelings were dashed when we picked it up and found that it just doesn’t feel like a quality phone. Things have changed, though, and 5-megapixel phones are not what you’d call ubiquitous, but certainly widespread enough for you to be able to shop around. It’s cheap plastic with a rattly slider and a spongey keypad. In addition to outstanding photo and video capabilities, it also has a music player, FM radio, Wii-style games and Bluetooth. However, some may find it too large and heavy, and its internal memory is small, although it does support memory cards up to 4 GB
LG KC550 review: No thrills, all camera A line of multimedia-oriented handsets has secured LG a strong foothold in the cameraphone kingdom. LG’s tri-band KC550 brings the 5-megapixel phone to the masses being only around ?100 on a pay as you go tariff. A mid-range handset with top-of-the-shelf photo and video capabilities is probably what describes best the compact slider.
